Kilmarnock Farm Bed & Breakfast Kilmarnock Farm consists of nearly 300 acres, much of which is wooded with southern hardwood species and native flora and fauna. The forests abound with white-tail deer, an impressive variety of birds, squirrels, fox and even bobcats and an occasional bear. Trails are being developed that will enable hikers to hike for hours in secluded beauty. The numerous mushroom, moss, fern and wildflower varieties are unbelievable and along with the lichens are prolific due to the pollution-free environment we enjoy here.

| When we purchased this
farm the previous owners were already operating as a bed and breakfast and we are
continuing the tradition--even so, we are a "work in progress". It must be
pointed out that we are currently renovating the 1860's I-style farm house ourselves and
the work is done along with the rest of our chores. We have not found this to be
something unique to us, but rather find that most of the families around us tend to do
most of their own renovating and building. We are basically a European-style hostelry that includes our guests in our home and way of life. Our guests share our meals, our lifestyle and if they so desire can be included in our farming adventure by doing small tasks such as feeding animals, working in our gardens, moving animals, etc. No two days are alike on a farm! |

approximate to the Stonewall Jackson Lake (9 miles by road), Burnsville Lake and Dam (we
adjoin this property) and is centrally located so that much of the state is easily
