Bring your favorite stuffed dog or wear clothing with pictures of dogs of them.  You could even paint dog paw prints on your cheek!

“Be a part of the Lord’s army!”

Come dressed in a boy scout, girl scout, or army guy outfit.

August 11       Glow in the Dark Night

                        “Let’s shine for Jesus!”

Come ready to glow in the dark for Jesus with a party favor we will provide!

August 18       Froggy Green Night

“We should Fully Rely On God!”

Wear lots of green so we will look like a pond full of frogs!

August 25       Back to School Bible Buck Store

The Bible Buck Store will be open with lots of Christian Back-to-School supplies!

Beach Party

Water games, beach balls, and snow cones were shared by the children on Wednesday, June 9 as we celebrated the end of the school and the beginning of our Spirit-Filled Summer.  The children wore beach wear as they played games, made a craft, and got their faces painted.  The theme for the evening was “Fishers of Men”.  The children learned how Jesus can use them to bring others to Him.  “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”  A special thanks goes to all those who helped make this event a great success!

Bible Buck Store

The Bible Buck Store will open again in August.  We are going to stock Christian Back-to-School items and supplies needed by many of our children.  The children will earn Bible Bucks over the summer by attending BYF, bringing their Bibles, and memorizing the memory verse.  They will be able to spend them in August.  If you would like to donate supplies for this special Back-to-School Sale , please see Shelly Kraus.

How often should I pray to God?
After teaching the disciples how to pray, Jesus told them to pray alot. He told them that they should keep praying until they received their answer from God. Jesus promised that their prayers would be heard and that they would be answered. Prayer does make a difference! Jesus says, "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you (Luke 11:9)."

The children listen closely as "Miss Debbie" tells an interesting and meaningful story each Sunday morning.  Jacky Persinger and Kathy Butler also pay close attention

CATCH THEM LISTENING
The children and teens are paying special attention to the sermons on Sunday morning! They are asked a "Question of the Week" and given the opportunity to win a Christian CD by answering it correctly. The children's question is taken from Debbie’s children’s sermon and the teen's question is taken from Preacher Phil’s Sunday morning sermon. They are doing a great job listening!!! "Keep up the good work!"
