Mission Statement
Troy Elementary School believes that every child should be provided the opportunity to learn at the highest level possible; should have a school environment that is caring, safe, and conducive to learning; should have the positive involvement of the family caregiver in his/her education ; should have the community as part of the education of the total child; must have effective , practical instruction in the basic skills so that a base of knowledge is provided as a stepping stone for further learning.

Goals
1. The school will provide an environment which allows students to utilize and explore current technology that enhances the core curriculum.
2. The school will provide a curriculum that offers opportunities for students to achieve at optimal individuals level.
3. The school will provide an environment where children will feel comfortable within a familiar structured routine that is non-threatening and non-biased.
4. The school will encourage parents to participate in the education of his/her child.
5. The school will strive to make the community a partner in the education of the child.
6. The school will provide instruction in basic skills areas that is practical and effective.
